    I just got back from a short trip to Sequoia NP. It was beautiful and bear boxes were abundant. My dad claims he saw a cub...so beware! Can't wait to follow you on your adventure. I like the duct tape/WD 40 plan. Don't forget the water and maybe a cooler full of beer.
