So this is what we have so far, its still just a rough guide as it seems to change daily. As of now it includes Route 66, the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Death Valley, Sequoia N. P., Yosemite N.P., the Redwood Forest and pretty much the whole coast of Oregon. Ultimately will be coast to coast, as I plan on driving to St. Augustine on Saturday so we can claim this. Or it will be as far as we can make it in '76 VW Bus, that is not exactly known for reliability, and will probably be spending more time at the parts store than at the state parks. But hey "its just part of the adventure", which I'm positive Tina will get tired of hearing real quick. Being I've already used it once when an "ice cream run" at 8pm turned into a 2hour, 60 mile, change a fuel pump on the side of a four lane highway, "adventure". But I'm fully prepared to once again pull off a Mcgyver situation on the curb of some busy road. As I will be using the fool proof Duct Tape and WD-40 plan, if it moves and isn't suppose to...use Duct Tape, if it doesn't move and is suppose to...use WD-40. Plus I'll be carrying a ton of miscellaneous parts and tools, which I will go into detail in a later Post. We are open to suggestions if you know of any cool places somewhere along this route.
